Injustice: Gods Among Us Comic Issue 20 Review

Injustice Insert 10Issue 20 tries to play a horror movie type angle with Superman’s crew. It’s really hard to do that when you are dealing with superhuman beings. Regardless, issue 20 brings us an important reveal, and it helps drive the story forward. I really am wondering how many issues are in this series, especially since it feels like it’s been forever since I completed the Injustice campaign. That being said, let’s get into issue 20.

Everything begins with the Justice League intercepting a radio signal from Metropolis that simply loops the phrase “I’m alive”. The bulk of the issue is spent building the suspense as to who could have possibly survived the nuclear blast that killed off the populace in Metropolis. They use way too much time building this up, and I think this could have been done in half an issue. I won’t give anything away, but I’m sure you can guess who it is based on the fact that it’s Metropolis. An important reveal, and a sign that this is an alternate universe. You can skip this one and not miss much. It’s not too hard to just buy it though since each issue is $1…
