SDCC 2016

CCILogo-RIf you’ve been listening to the Shot O’ Games podcast, you’d know (and knowing is half the battle) that Fidel and I will once again be returning to San Diego Comic Con. We are a few weeks away and luckily it’s in our back yard. For those of you attending, keep an eye out for us. We always enjoy meeting you all. If your not attending, we feel your pain and invite you keep an eye right here on our site, Facebook, and Twitter for news and photos from the show.

While the schedule is not available yet, you can bet we will be attending some fun panels and bringing you the news as quickly as we can. Are you going to Comic Con? Be sure to read Fidel’s Survival Guide. I’ll give you my quick list below and if you are attending let us know what you are most looking forward to.

For Comic Con in San Diego the most important thing is to have fun and make friends. Be prepared by having comfortable shoes, carry water with you and stay hydrated. Avoid driving and take the trolley as much as possible, but don’t be afraid to walk around downtown. You may just find something cool or a new favorite restaurant. Carry some cash with you as some vendors only take cash and the electronic card systems sometimes go down. Plan ahead, plan your schedule now online and subscribe it to your phone. Plan the autograph sessions you want to see and arrive early. Some panels require getting in line days ahead of time whereas others only an hour is needed. Think about how popular it is.

What are we looking forward to this year? Well there is a ton, but here our some of the highlights. The premiere of The Killing Joke is high on the list. Multiple panels with IDW, Hasbro, and Marvel for TV, movies, and comics. WB and DC for their TV series like Flash and Supergirl. Fox and the final panel for Bones. The Robotech panel is always a hit along with all the Transformers and related panels. Of course, we will also be shopping for some exclusives…hmm, I still need to look those up. Not only those, but wandering the floor and oh, so much more. We hope to see you there.
