You might be wondering why I am reviewing this app. Well…holidays are coming, so we need money. I am not a rich person, so I am looking for ways to make a few extra bucks to buy gifts this Christmas. Plus, the Holidays are coming, so we are looking forward to great meals…and potential weight gain. I am looking to mitigate that as much as possible, so I’m thinking I can knock two birds with one stone here. Introducing Gympact.
Following in the wake of the popular Skylanders games, in which you buy figurines to play as different characters and levels, we have a new challenger to our wallets: Disney Infinity. Continue reading
Everyone by now should realize they need security software (AntiVirus) on their computers, but as many of us know- it simply is not the case. I love Android, it’s my mobile OS of choice. It powers my phone, and my tablet, and technically my browser since I use Chrome. I believe Android has the most to offer as far as an OS, but it still has a lot of growing to do. The tablet market is of great interest to me, since it sees the most changes. A little over a year ago, almost all Android tablets were the same. Tegra powered, 10 inch, and averaging around $400 for price point. No one has really tackled gaming as their focus with their tablet though, until now. Wikipad is bringing us their 10″ Tegra 3 powered, gaming focused offering. Will it be unique enough to be noticed in a sea of imitators? Continue reading
It’s getting up there! It’s almost mid-life crisis time! Nah we don’t do that here. It’s time for another Shot O’ Games! This week, we cover Dust: An Elysian Tale, the new Leviathan DLC for Mass Effect 3, and we reminisce on the old comic book cartoons from the 90s, including Spider-Man and the X-Men. We also go over the latest gaming news, talk about Extra Life, and make fun of Wayne. All this and much more this week on episode 31!
Magic number 30! Very meaningful for some of us older geeks. This week, we go back down to the usual team of three, but still involve others. Wayne spends some time going over Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which a lot of us have been waiting for. I go over my 26 match marathon against our own Kolby in Persona 4 Arena, and talk more in-depth about the game. We also talk randomly about what’s going on in our lives, the latest gaming news, and more!
