There are some categories that would make a full round-up of company offerings a bit too long here, so some will get their own round-up. The first one up will be Incipio, who had quite a few products to show off this year at CES, including innovative power solutions and some just plain cool stuff. Let’s take a look.
Let’s start off with some new cases. Incipio has been a big supporter of iOS devices as well as many others. They are one of the few companies that supports phones that aren’t ultra popular, and have a wide assortment of cases. This means they have options for almost all cell phone owners, and that’s something we support. Let’s showcase a few that we saw at the show:
First off is the ATLAS waterproof iPhone 5 case. Rugged cases are really popular these days, the problem with a lot of them is that they look the part. Usually very “toolbox” like. The ATLAS still has style in its own way while giving your iPhone 5 good protection. It is a bit bulkier than some of Incipio’s other cases, but it’s still small enough to put in your pocket and not worry about your phone. The ATLAS will release next month in AT&T and Verizon stores nationwide in different color combinations.
Next we have the Stowaway iPhone 5 case. I must say this is one of my favorite cases thus far. It is a slim two-tone case that has a hidden compartment to store credit cards. This also serves as a kickstand to prop up your iPhone 5 and watch media. The Stowaway comes in four different color combinations, and is already available for $34.99. Watch here for a review on this one soon.
To continue we have the Dualpro CF case. This case is a two piece unit, it includes a shock absorving silicone cover, and a rigid plextonium frame for your iPhone. The exterior has a carbon fiber finish, and really gives the case a sophisticated and professional look. It is not very bulky, and adds good protection to your phone. The Dualpro CF is already available in two color combinations for $34.99.
Now we will focus on something more unique. Wireless charging is one of the most popular emerging technologies along with NFC. Unfortunately, most phones don’t have this capability yet. Incipio is looking to fix this problem with their GHOST case and powermat combo for the Samsung Galaxy S3. The GHOST case adds wireless charging capabilities to the Galaxy S3, and allows it to function with wireless powermats made with Qi technology. This is something that I’m sure most phones will have by the end of this year, so it’s great to already have a powermat for when the time comes. The GHOST combo will retail for $49.99 when it is released next month in select retailers and online. This is a great deal considering lots of powermats sell for that much alone at the moment.
There is a lot more coming from Incipio, including some really nice docks, headphones, and lots more cases. We will have more detailed reviews on their products soon, for now enjoy this little teaser. Make sure you head to our Facebook page here and take a look at our CES album. Much more coming soon!
