Xbox at E3 2015

hauir Xbox had a big presence at E3 this year. Actually, I should say Microsoft as all the reveals were not solely for the Xbox. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.

XboxElite-Controller-FrontBackLockup-BlackBG-RGB-pngThe Xbox One Elite Controller is coming soon for $149.99, take a look here, that is mind blowing with hair trigger locks, swappable buttons, paddles, button mapping and more. I think I need one.

Windows 10 is built for gamers, too! With Direct X 12, under the hood enhancements and more. Plus, it’s coming to Xbox One in the fall. We will have better voice command options thanks to Cortana and a faster interface.

Also coming to Xbox one is backwards compatibility, finally I can play some of my 360XboxOne-BackCompat-Poster-22x28-jpg games on the One! Preview participants have access to a few titles now with over 100 titles coming this holiday and more on the way. I’ve a huge library of great games and am grateful they are making this happen. Defense Grid plays great and reports of Mass Effect running better than on the 360 are crazy and awesome.

Halo 5 Guardians is looking to be very impressive with up to 24 player and Ai tossed into the mix of Warzone. Not to mention an epic HORIZONTAL-ROTTR-Preview-jpgcampaign experience that I cannot wait for. Rise of the Tomb Raider is another breathtaking experience with a bigger world, more tombs and interactive environments. We will need our wits about us for sure.

Gears of War 4 is coming in 2016, head over and watch the trailer, you won’t be disappointed. Meanwhile this year we get Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition in 1080p and adding five new campaign chapters! Both are high on my list of must plays.

From the Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime, we have Recore where we areReCore-2D-Boxshot-Wizard-FOB-RGB-png going on an epic adventure with robot companions through a dynamic and mysterious world. We also happen to be one of the last remaining humans. It’s a wonderful looking game that looks very fun to play.

Those are what I am most looking forward to from Xbox at E3. Well, they is much more like the indie games and more third party games, but I’m getting to be a bit long on this article. What are you most looking forward to from E3 2015?
